An electronics development laboratory is installed in Konolfingen. The worldwide first folding document inserter machines with reading of optical marks leave the factory under the name KAE (Kern Automatic Electronic). The manufacturer Mr. Marc Kern - on the left - [1] is clearly proud of his latest product. The factory is extended to accommodate the increasing demand for Kern machines. [2] [3]
