The Kern 90 CardSystem is characterised by its extremely flexible and modular design. The use of a pick and place robot allows up to 8 cards to be placed anywhere on the document, while the system‘s linear structure enables throughput of 7,000 cards per hour – a significant productivity gain.
The user friendly and database driven software ensures that cards are synchronised with the car-rier document and enclosure, checked, and subsequently inserted. Each production process step is monitored and an ergonomic user interface ensures easy operation. All production information is made available for immediate analysis.
Through the use of a pick and place robot, cards of various thicknesses, sizes, and shapes can be processed. This means that your marketing team can let its imagination run wild when design-ing different cards!
The Kern 90 CardSystem can also be connected to a Kern inserting system. The advantage here is that customers can continue to use their systems to process their more standard insertions. Hence you receive a combined system that can be adapted to individual needs.
