Compact Inserting System
The inserting system Kern 686 is the proven, compact inserting system with the ability of processing single sheets up to a size of DIN-A3 and up to 3 inserts for small to medium shipping volumes.
Kern 686 – modular and upgradeable
To insert a DIN-A3 form into a A6 envelope doesn’t pose a problem for the Kern 686 inserting system, because the integrated folding systems allow any combination of parallel and cross folding.
Patented steel packing pockets hold the forms during the insertion process into the envelope. As with manual inserting, the inserts are correctly put in the fold.
In just one step the Kern 686 compares, folds and inserts the documents and seals the envelopes at high continuous output.
mailFactory® accompanies and supports the inserting process with the reading module at the exit.

- OMR-, Barcode- and Datamatrix reading ex folding station
